12:00 - 12:30: Ice breaker and getting to know your future Young Founders community
12:30 - 13:30: Understanding your strengths and purpose with Stanford d.School's Project Wayfinder
13:30 - 14:00: Introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship
14:00 - 15:30: Brainstorming and ideation sprint; Learn how to evaluate the ideas using the RWW Framework). Is the market real? Is it feasible?
15:30 - 16:00: Break
16:00 - 17:00: 60 second rapid fire pitches. Participants who want to pitch their ideas and recruit teammates can do so. Teams start to be formed
17:00 - 18:00: Refine your solution, identify your target market, put together your unique value proposition
(Formal teaching ends at 18:00, but teams can work on the tasks until whenever you decide to stop!)
09:00 - 10:00: Market sizing and customer discovery - Who really is your target market? Who's your beach head? How can you find out if they want your solution?
10:00 - 11:00: Competitive analysis and barriers to entry
11:00 - 12:00: Introduction to Lean Canvas: Revenue model. What is a sustainable business model? How do you estimate the amount of capital needed? Where can you raise money?
12:00 - 13:00: Go-to-market strategy. How do you get your first 100 users?
13:00 - 14:00: Lunch
14:00 - 17:00: "Consult a mentor" breakout sessions. Esteemed entrepreneurs and experts have been invited to mentor participants. They will challenge your assumptions, give guidance and help you move along!
17:00 - 18:00: How to prepare a killer pitch presentation and mock prototype
18:00: Pizza party
Task for the day: Prepare your pitch (a typical pitch presentation would be 10 slides covering the problem statement, market size, solution and unique value proposition, revenue model, go-to-market strategy, competition, team) and mock prototype
(Formal teaching ends at 18:00, but teams should work on the tasks until whenever you decide to stop!)
09:00 - 12:30: Pitch preparation, prototyping, tech checks
12:30 - 17:00: Pitch presentations to judges
17:00 - 17:30 : Announcement of Semi-Finalists and closing ceremony
