Annie started her early career in Engineering, where she was a Superintendent Project Manager working on high-profiled, large-scaled, complex billion-dollar projects such as building the HQ for Australian Federal Police, ANZ Bank in Melbourne and classified projects for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). She was Australia’s first ESD Manager, managing all of the Victorian Government energy, water, waste targets, and projects.

After spending a few years in sales / business commercialisation roles, she transitioned into coaching startups roles running the Investible accelerator program as a venture capitalist after meeting serial entrepreneur Creel Price at the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship in South Africa entrepreneur, funded by Sir Richard Branson.

Having worked directly with over 10,000 people in her early career supercharged Annie’s first-hand experience and knowledge to the different decision-making processes and motivations of leaders of organizations and all levels of government. She went from technical engineering to the engineering behind the human and business processes, on the specific input and output required to take action. After 5 years at Investible; running 22 accelerator programs running 300 pitch and investor events, launching an angel investor club. Annie’s mission is to help leaders build business at speed, she used Fingerprint for Success as a ‘secret’ talent tool to accelerate thousands of startup founders cross 13 cities to grow their businesses.

Annie currently supports with Universities, Enterprises, Governments, Corporates, Venture Builders, Accelerators, High growth companies across international markets using predictive people data analytics to help leaders and teams get to the next level.

Thye Yeow leads Google's Asia Pacific startup programs across Southeast Asia, SAF, China and Taiwan. This includes the Google for Startups Accelerator and Google for Startups Partners . He also oversees the Developer Space @ Google Singapore, a dedicated physical space for developers and startups to connect, learn and share best practices.

He is also passionate about developing the next generation of tech talent and founded the Google Machine Learning Bootcamp program to nurture and cross-train ML tech talent globally.

Prior to joining Google, Thye Yeow has decades of software development experience spanning across various industries such as finance, digital advertising, and telecommunications.

Jen is currently leading Eco Business and Tembusu Partners' Sustainable Future Fund, investing into climate and sustainability startups around SEA.

Prior to SFF, Jen headed up portfolio management with venture capital teams like New World Development Group’s C Ventures, Standard Chartered Ventures and HK’s HYPE Asia, in bridging Chinese and Southeast Asia’s start-ups to scale with growth equity. Before a career into VC, she was an operator-at-heart, leading internationalisation for top consumer brands, including luluemon (China entry), TOMS (China entry), Alipay (US/EU entry), and Groupon (APAC expansion). She had also founded (and failed) her own start-up, WanderSnap, a social impact and content platform connecting creatives with families and businesses to create original content around 58 cities in Asia.

Outside of her career, Jen is a passionate student for interior design and languages, and travels off-the-beaten-path and teaches indoor spinning whenever time allows. She is always opened to working with young professionals on personal mentorship or CV coaching. Jen holds a BCom in Finance from the University of British Columbia.

Edmas Neo heads the Group Transformation Office at Mandai and steers the organisation’s transformation efforts. He leads a team of digital evangelists to unlock the potential of emerging technologies in transforming the group’s entire value chain and spearheads the setup of Mandai Open Innovation Lab. He also leads the technology development across the Mandai rejuvenation project.

Prior to Mandai, Edmas was CEO of Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), a national private led organisation that represents over 4,000 Singapore technology startups, and Regional Director at Singapore Innovate, a Singapore government wholly owned venture capital firm.

Dr Matthew Zhao is the Food Scientist at Big Idea Ventures, a venture capital firm which invests in future food technologies in the alternative protein ecosystem. His technical expertise includes specialisation in post-harvest technology, food packaging and processing, and shelf-life evaluation.

Under his guidance, several companies were successful in adopting innovative novel technology, solutions and processes to commercialise their product with better nutritional value, a stable shelf-life among other value-added functional properties. He holds a PhD in Food Technology from Massey University, New Zealand.

She has 12 years of experience in technology start-ups in the e-commerce, recruitment, mobile and on-demand space, which includes founding 2 startups, one of which she exited after leading it to become Singapore's leading fashion e-commerce platform. Through FastJobs Malaysia, she's currently playing her part in connecting low-wage jobseekers to meaningful employment opportunities through hiring innovation and leveraging technology, in pandemic-challenged times.

Joelle is paving the way for women in technology by demonstrating impressive entrepreneurship through her various startups. Adding to this is her digital transformation work with Singapore Press Holdings’ subsidiary, FastJobs Asia, a blue-collar workforce focused mobile recruitment platform, and the commercial success of FastJobs across Southeast Asia, where she is the General Manager for Malaysia and Regional Business Development Director.

Rafael is an early-growth stage tech venture capital and angel investor, startup founder coach and innovation growth specialist based in Singapore.

His experience is mostly in B2B, and Fintech/InsurTech/DeepTech are of particular focus. Prior to VC, Rafael worked in buy-side M&A for a boutique Private Equity firm as part of a small team that included former CEO of Apple, John Sculley. He also led their operations for a joint venture business based in Singapore and created a new mobile brand for emerging markets called Obi.

Entrepreneur & Start-Up Mentor

Sirey is a Cambodian serial entrepreneur. He is passionate about smart cities, sustainability, technology, and entrepreneurship. Since 2015, Sirey has co-founded several consulting companies, including Green Infrastructure Solutions (an Award Winner of 2018 Greenpreneurs), Sustinat Green (specialized EIA/ESIA company), and Thurawadh (Investment advice). 

With more than 7 years of experience in startup and professional practices, Sirey has developed a unique ability to identify product-market fit, understand political and economic trends, and utilize them for the development of businesses.

Recently, he has worked as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at 500 Startups (Cambodia) to mentor early-stage tech startups. He is also mentoring a Cambodian team for a global business plan competition in the 2021 Greenpreneur Accelerator Program. At the policy level, he has been invited to provide inputs on sustainable cities in the draft of the National Resources and Environmental Code, and the draft NDC Roadmap for Low-Carbon, Climate-Resilient Buildings and Construction 2050 in Cambodia.

Before joining Wantedly, Andrew co-founded a Social Enterprise, The Shiok Collective, served as Head of Southeast Asia at BeMyGuest, and was Investment Director at One Belt One Road Venture Capital. Having accumulated international experience in his entrepreneurial journey, Andrew gives back by mentoring startups and speaks at conferences in the region.

In his youth, Andrew had represented his country and schools for Tenpin Bowling. Andrew is also the Immediate Past President of the University At Buffalo (UB) Alumni Singapore Chapter and now sits on the Board of Directors for UB Alumni Association which has over 200,000 members globally. As part of his charitable contributions, he co-founded Makan For Hope during the pandemic which is a community for startups and entrepreneurs to network with one another and give back to charitable causes at the same time.

Vince is the Managing Director of 917Ventures, the venture builder of Globe Telecom in the Philippines. Prior to that he was Vice President heading the Product Management of Globe Telecom and accountable for Product Strategy and Planning, Product Development, Product Lifecycle, Product Capability Management, Product Assurance, Innovation and Product Capability and Delivery.


Before heading Product Management, Vince was the Head of Innovation at Globe Telecom. As the Head of Innovation, he developed the innovation process and piloted hundreds of projects wherein some were commercialized.


Vince is also an entrepreneur, having founded a web and mobile entertainment company in Silicon Valley and Singapore, serving all operators and top broadcasting companies. Jamie is the co-founder of The Kind Friend, a wellness company that aims to help individuals live a more mindful life by offering well-being journals. Previously, Jamie was the regional partnerships lead at Carousell and founded two education businesses in Australia. As Chapter Leader for Lean In Singapore, Joelle is paving the way for women in technology by demonstrating impressive entrepreneurship through her various startups. Adding to this is her digital transformation work with Singapore Press Holdings’ subsidiary, FastJobs Asia, a blue-collar workforce focused mobile recruitment platform, and the commercial success of FastJobs across Southeast Asia, where she is the General Manager for Malaysia and Regional Business Development Director.

Young Founders Summit 2020 Mentor - Aalok Doshi

From enterprise to entrepreneurship, over the past 15+ years Aalok has gained diverse leadership experience from General Management, Sales, Strategy and Operations roles in large technology companies like AWS, Microsoft and Cisco. At AWS, he scales startup programs to serve 30k startups across APJ, allowing them to build, grow and scale.

Aalok is also an angel investor in startups, has founded a Fintech startup (loyaltycredit.asia) and has run entrepreneurship bootcamps for MBA students at INSEAD and for high school students at CIS, GIIS, UWC.

He loves building investor pitches and enjoys helping take an early stage idea and mould it into a customer value proposition.
He has led strategic C-level customer experience programs for top Fortune 500 companies across 19 sites by supporting over 3,000 customer engagements. In Sales, he managed US$30M+ annual targets, and closed complex global enterprise and service providers deals as large as $500M. He has built global operational teams in cross-functional roles (engineering, program management).

Young Founders Summit 2020 Mentor - Janise Tan v2

Janise builds tech and innovation ecosystem that drives experimentation and collaboration with its users, startups, and partners to deliver sustainable business impact. Janise manages Google for Startup Accelerator’s program and mentor network in Southeast Asia, providing founders with access to the best of Google - its people, network, and advanced technologies - helping startups build great products.

Previously, she was the GM of LEVEL3, a startup and innovation ecosystem created in partnership with Unilever Foundry to incubate startups, and support corporates like Syngenta, Cargill, and MUFG to innovate and transform their business leveraging emerging technologies. Janise also later drove fintech and financial markets partnerships and engagements in her role as the Ecosystem Lead at Thomson Reuters Innovation Labs in Asia.

Young Founders Summit 2020 Mentor - Dr Dalal Alghawas

Dr. Dalal AlGhawas is the Program Director at Big Idea Ventures, a venture capital firm which invests in future food technologies in the alternative protein ecosystem. She helps to combine capital, partnership, mentorship to support and grow the world’s most compelling food companies. Dr. Dalal's expertise ranges from research, food science and biotechnology.

Young Founders Summit Mentor Jayren Teo

Jayren is a venture builder and GenZ thought leader. He represents Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) in Singapore, providing market access opportunities and business development to 178 countries. 

Jayren believes in Paying-it Forward and has been heavily involved in the community for 8 years. He mentors young founders and invests in early stage startups. As Head of Economic Enhancement, ASEAN Youth Organisation, he leads a 200K community of Southeast Asian youths to solve problems in our region. 

Jayren leverages on technologies to develop innovative products that solves global problems and improve humanity. 

Young Founders Summit Mentor Faye Victoria Sit

Faye is the co-founder of Hook Coffee, a tech x coffee company on a mission to bring fresh and ethical coffee to all coffee lovers, while empowering coffee farmers and consumers alike to #MakeCoffeeBetter.

Hook Coffee was recognised as one of Singapore’s 20 Hottest Startups by Singapore Business Review in 2018, and is Singapore’s largest and Southeast Asia’s leading e-coffee company today.


Her key responsibilities at Hook include Strategy and Growth Hacking, Fundraising, Leadership and Management, Business Development, CRM, Branding, Marketing, and Public Relations.


Aside from her role at Hook, Faye is concurrently pursuing her PhD at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS, and as been actively involved as a speaker and mentor for causes pertaining to entrepreneurship and sustainability in Singapore, as well as volunteer work and community engagement in the developing world.

Deepak Subramanian

Deepak is currently the Global Head of the Fabric Sensations Category for Unilever as well as the Vice-President for Unilever’s Homecare division in South-East Asia, Australia & New Zealand.

In a career spanning 25 years with Unilever, he has worked across sales & marketing and more recently in board-level general business management roles, bearing full P&L responsibility and revenue growth accountability. During this time, he has built significant strategic business and consumer insight by leading multi-million growth, turnaround and start-up business verticals, both in operational roles in local markets and in regional/global roles driving strategy and innovation. He has lived and worked in India, Asia and Europe and his international experience has helped him gain a strong perspective on how consumer goods companies and business executives must evolve to thrive in these volatile times.

He is a Mentor/Advisor to Antler, an early stage VC, a recent graduate of the Executive Programme at Singularity University and a Certified Chair from the Advisory Board Centre, Australia.

Young Founders Summit Mentor Sonya Seddarasan

Sonya Seddarasan

Sonya is a professional over-thinker who was born and raised up in Jakarta, Indonesia. A Principal Product Design for Tokopedia, an Indonesian unicorn. At Toko, she builds solutions combining Product Strategy and Business Needs in various B2B & B2C mobile apps . With that she is lucky enough to be able to try on different problem solving methods from ideation to evaluation of the product.
 
With that memory and experience in bank, she founded a Product Strategy workshop called The Process for designers in Jakarta to collaborate and get hands-on with different case studies. 
 
Previously, Sonya was a product developer at e-grocery company funded by Rocket Internet called Happy Fresh, a freelancer at Upwork, and Product Design Lead at Qlue, a crowd sourcing citizen app that helped Indonesian government to hear the voice of the citizen on city issues.
 
Sonya has loved arts since young and is an Art and Design Major from Bina Nusantara University. She is also a certified Human Computer Interaction and Design Thinking Practitioner, whom on the spare time, enjoy reading Psychology, Science and Self Help books.

Lily is the Head of Program Design at a VC-backed education startup, NewCampus, that equips professionals with learning pathways to develop their leadership and management skills in fast-changing global industries.

Lily previously founded two 7-figure businesses, both which used design thinking processes for very different business models. She has spoken and run design thinking workshops and talks at universities across Australia at UNSW, USYD, Macquarie University and for companies like Adobe.

She is a constant traveler, where she travelled to 17 countries in the past year alone, entrepreneurial problem solver and free spirit. Aside from work, she has many interests and hobbies including drawing, dancing, learning languages and an avid reader.

Once upon a time, she also published 2 children's books with Scholastic and was on the Australian National Team for a Japanese martial arts called Taido competing in the 2017 World Championships.

Ee Ling Lim

Ee Ling is the Singapore Country Head for Innovation & Partnerships at 500 Startups, the world's most active venture capital fund. Ee Ling is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Smarter Me, an education startup that equips K-12 students with the skillset, mindset, and heartset of the future, through digital tech, design thinking, and entrepreneurship education.

Prior to Smarter Me, Ee Ling spent almost a decade in investment banking with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CIMB Investment Bank, advising large corporations in South East Asia on M&A, equity capital markets and debt capital markets. 

Kenneth Low

Kenneth is a Principal at SoftBank Ventures Asia, where he oversees investments in startups. Prior to SoftBank, he was the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at 500 Startups.

Ken was the Co-Founder and COO of Club Alacarte, Indonesia’s leading app-based premier lifestyle membership program offering access to hundreds of exclusive dining, lifestyle and retail offers across Jakarta.

Ken spent 13 years as an Investment Banker, with stints in Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, Nomura, Standard Chartered, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Christian Cadeo

Christian Cadeo is currently the Managing Partner, Asia for Big Idea Ventures. Big Idea Ventures is a new alternative protein venture capital fund based in New York and Singapore. It is has major investors in the fund such as Temasek Holdings, Tyson Food (NYSE: TSN/Fortune 100 company), Buhler Group and some of the largest family offices globally.

Prior to this Christian was a seasoned operator with experience in bringing US based startups to Asia. His first startup was at AdMob which was eventually acquired by Google for US$750MM. The second startup was JUST where he was the 1st employee internationally and the company had only raised US$30MM and valued at US$90MM (currently raised US$300MM/valued at $1.2B). Recently he was at Domo where he joined pre-IPO as the 1st employee in Southeast Asia. The company IPO on NASDAQ in 2018.

Christian also has extensive experience working at some of the largest technology companies in the world including Google and Microsoft.

Will Fan

Will is the founder of NewCampus, a lifelong learning school for professionals excited by change. With a focus on curating a global network of entrepreneurs, creators and innovators, his goal is to identify individuals who believe in the future of learning and transform them into world-class instructors.

Scratching his own itch, Will started travelling across SE Asia, China and the Middle East as a nomadic entrepreneur. He’s an evangelist on remote working, a frequent guest lecturer on the future of work, and was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Education.

HuiLin Chin

HuiLin is the Associate Partner at Antler China, a global startup generator and early-stage VC that brings exceptional individuals together to build disruptive tech companies. Antler unlocks the power of the world’s most brilliant and determined people to work on some of the most exciting and crucial opportunities and problems of tomorrow.

Sang Shin

Sang is the Director of Digital Innovation at Temasek. He co-founded Been, Inc. in 2013 and developed the world’s first and only mobile app that enabled users to monetise and take control of their personal data and privacy, blocking personal data collection and advertising from all mobile websites and mobile apps on iPhones. In 2016, Sang moved from Silicon Valley to Singapore to help develop the region’s startup ecosystem, bringing his experiences from Been, McKinsey, and Bridgewater Associates with him.

Felix Goh

Felix is the Technical Program Manager at Amazon Web Services for ASEAN region.

Felix is responsible for driving awareness and adoption of the AWS Educate program with education institutions and Public Sector organizations. He conducts various technical workshops to educate students and empower educators with knowledge on AWS Cloud services, and how they can utilize them for projects and in the organization.

Rina Neoh

Rina currently sits on the board of Matrade, The National Trade Promotion Agency of Malaysia. Rina is also a senator representing Malaysia to the World Business Angel Forum and is on the board of WBAF's Investment Fund and The Women Leaders board.

Rina Neoh has more than 25 years of experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds. With a solid foundation in Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computer Science and a keen business sense acquired through a post-graduate MBA in International Business, Rina has delivered multi-million dollar returns from more than 80 startup companies which she has either ideated, incubated, accelerated, mentored or scaled up in various industries.

Rina is Instrumental in introducing two IPOs in the Australian Stock Exchange and helped execute complex cross border mergers and acquisitions strategy within the Asia Pacific region.

Rina Co-founded Mercatus Capital Pte Ltd, a homegrown incubator and venture accelerator based in Singapore since 2006. Through its angel networks, it provided seed financing to promising new ventures, with more than 80 startups seeded and incubated in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, India, China, and Hong Kong.

Cynthia Cheung

Cynthia is the Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Consultant at UNDP. She is a social venture builder at the Youth Co:Lab, an initiative co-led by the UNDP Asia-Pacific and Citi Foundation to economically empower the next generation in the region through SDG entrepreneurship. She is also the co-founder of a travel fintech startup called ReadyTravel.io, and has a deep passion for innovation in education and financial inclusion for women.
